When Will The R560 Grant Be Paid?
The Child Support Grant for August 2025 will be paid on Thursday, 7 August 2025. It is paid after the Older Persons Grant on 5 August and the Disability Grant on 6 August to stagger payment dates and thus through less number of people in collection points. Beneficiaries are encouraged to avoid rushing to collect cash at pay points or ATM on the first day of payment. They can make the process easier by waiting a minimum of 24 hours to lessen congestion.

If you encounter any delays, follow these procedures for a quicker resolution:
- Check Your Status – Use the SASSA official status check tool, use the USSD code or app “Moya” to check if your payment is through.
- Bank Details Verification – Is your bank account running? And has it been linked correctly to your grant?
- Update Your Personal Details – Should anything change in your phone number, address, and/or ID, notify SASSA immediately.
- Submit Documentation – If SASSA requests documentary proof of your residence, ID, or child-related information, provide it as soon as possible.
- SASSA In-Person Assistance – Should this fail, go to your closest SASSA Office and ask for help or call the help centre.
