Who Will Receive The Double Payment?

  • Recipients of both a monthly social grant (old age, disability, or child support) and the SRD R370-R, both with compounding payout dates.
  • Persons who have had their grant status recently approved by an appeal and are now being back paid.

The double payment window runs from Monday, 25 August 2025, to Saturday, 30 August 2025, during which time the following will occur:

  • Payments finishing with Older Person’s Grants, then followed by disability and child support.
  • SRD R370 payments will be scheduled with the relevant grant payments, if applicable.
